A Vertically Integrated Cannabis Development

In 2021, Centaurus Farms LLC secured a significant win in Colorado’s competitive cannabis licensing process with a lottery-awarded retail and medical store license in Fort Lupton. This victory marked the first milestone in building the foundation of a long-term vision for a fully integrated cannabis operation. This is a long range plan that has taken into consideration the current and future planning regulated marketplace.

PROJECT MILESTONES

License Awarded (2021): Secured retail and medical dispensary license via Colorado state lottery.
Entitlements Passed (February 2024): All required zoning and land use approvals achieved.
Local Law Approval (November 2024): Through Centaurus Farms’ sponsorship and support from the citizens of Fort Lupton, local laws for cultivation, extraction, research, and development were passed, allowing the project to proceed.
Finalizing Entitlement Package (In Process): Continuing to complete the final details of entitlement approvals.
Construction Planned (2025–2027): Plan to begin construction in 2025, with elements delivered in 2026 and additional assets in 2027.

SITE OVERVIEW

This project is located on a 40-acre property, strategically divided into four distinct parcels to support scalable operations and future expansion. The design and land-use plans support a full range of cannabis activities, making this location a true seed-to-sale ecosystem. The parcel includes a right-of-way (R.O.W.), and we plan to build a two-lane road once utilities are in place, which will be dedicated to the city.

PLANNED OPERATIONS

Cultivation Facilities - Indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse cultivation designed to optimize yield, quality, energy efficiency, and sustainability.
Processing/Extraction - Both solvent and non-solvent extraction methods will allow for full production of all regulated cannabis product derivatives on site with internal quality controls.
In-House Laboratory - Full-service analytical lab will enable in-house testing, tissue culture, and advanced breeding programs.
Retail and Medical Storefront - Retail and medical dispensary will serve the Fort Lupton and greater Weld County region.
